VEC Summercamps

County Monaghan VEC, in conjunction with Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre, is organising seven one-week Summer Camps as part of its 2011 Summer Recreation Programme.

The camps will run daily from 9.45 am. to 4.30 pm  Monday to Thursday (Friday finish time at 3.00 pm.) Refer to Timetable below for collection and return points. Qualified instructors, tranport and equipment will be provided.

Participation is open to anyone between the ages of 9 and 16 years. *NO CAMP AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY*

All participant will be entered in a FREE PRIZE DRAW on Friday 19th August at Tanagh OEC @ 10 am. Prizes include a Family Fun Day for 2 Adults & 3 Children from 10 am - 3pm.
Terms & Conditions: Prize must be taken between Monday and Saturday before, Saturday 1st Oct 2011. Booking in Advance Essential.  Winner will be made public on www.tanaghoutdooreducation.com on Friday 19th Aug 2011

ACTIVITIES PROVIDED: Kayaking, canoeing, archery, low ropes course, climbing wall, hill walking, orienteering, brown bog tasks, banana boating, pedal go-karts, electronic orienteering, raft races.

PERSONAL EQUIPMENT: swimwear & T-shirt, Full change of old clothes, Runners that will get wet & dirty, A substantial healthy lunch & drink. Towel & toiletries for the shower, If money is permitted – small change only, Suncream or coat & Hat (depending on weather)

COST: €130.00 per child per week - €20.00 reduction for second/third child.

Re. WATERSPORTS: Life-jackets will be supplied and must be worn on the water at all time.
