1. FETAC Courses
Monaghan Youthreach offers FETAC courses at two levels: level 3 and level 4, at each of these levels learners must complete at least eight of the modules on each course to achieve a General Learning Certificate, level 3 and General Vocational Studies Certificate, Level 4.
The following subjects are currently on offer but these may change from time to time

At Monaghan Youthreach Learners have regular access to a Career Guidance Officer to assist them in finding suitable work placement and to offer advice on further education and training options.
2. WORK EXPERIENCE
Work Experience is an integral part of the Youthreach programme. Trainees undertake 3 periods of work experience per year for 2 weeks at a time. Work placement is secured with local employers in Monaghan Town and throughout the county.
Our Trainees have previously been employed in the following areas:
• Retail Outlets
• Furniture Factories
• Offices
• Restaurants
• Hairdressers/Barbers
• Beauticians
• Garages
• Veterinary Surgeries
• Crèches
3. SPORT & RECREATION
Monaghan Youthreach has a very successful 11-a-side soccer team and have made use of the Astro Turf facilities at Monaghan United. The team recently had a successful outing against Cootehill Youthreach. Learners also make full use of the gym facilities at Monaghan Leisure Centre where individual programmes and targets are set for participants.
