Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of Deputy Principal at Monaghan Institute, Monaghan Education Campus, Monaghan. The successful applicant will join Cavan and Monaghan ETB’s senior management team, having responsibility for the management and organisation of Monaghan Institute, ensuring its continued success and progressive development.

Candidates for appointment to the post of Deputy Principal are required to have a minimum of 5 years’ whole-time teaching service or its equivalent at Post-Primary / Second-level or higher. Applicants should hold a minimum of Assistant Principal Post of Responsibility / equivalent at Post-Primary / Second-level or higherfor a minimum of 3 years.

Qualifications, terms of appointment and conditions of service are as determined by the Department of Education and Skills.

Special Needs Assistant Panel for

2014/15 Academic Year

A panel will be created for the 2014/15 Academic Year from which appointments (including short-term substitution cover) which may arise, across all the schools within Cavan and Monaghan ETB, will be made.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the above panel.

FETAC Level 5 Certification (Full Award) in Childcare or related field of study is essential. Successful candidates must hold 8 modules as specified by FETAC for the purposes of certification for Childcare Level 5 award.

Experience of working with young people with Special Needs in a school setting is desirable.

All appointees will be assessed for suitability to work with young people – including Garda Vetting.

Placement on the SNA Panel does not guarantee employment with Cavan and Monaghan ETB during the lifespan of the panel.

SNAs in possession of a certified Panel Form 1 (PF1) should indicate this on their Application form.

 Panel of Seasonal Outdoor Pursuits Instructors

(Part Time, Casual)

Applications are accepted on an on-going basis for Panel of Seasonal Outdoor Pursuits Instructors (Part Time, Casual) at Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre.

Candidates MUST possess a range of National Governing Body Outdoor Pursuits Qualifications with a First Aid Certificate.  Previous experience working in a sport-related environment desirable.  (All appointees will be assessed for suitability to work with young people – including Garda Vetting.)
