IMPORTANT NOTICE - College Grants for 2011

You can now apply for college maintenance grant for 2011.

As a result of Budget 2011, the following change will be implemented with effect from September 2011:

Non-Adjacent rate of grantis payable where distance from home to college is over 45km.

Adjacent rate of grant Is payable where distance from home to college is 45 km or less.

This applies to all candidates including mature candidates (existing and new).

FINAL COURSE ACCEPTANCE SCHEDULES

When you ACCEPT a College Offer, you must also complete one of the Final Course Acceptance Schedules. 

This Final Course Acceptance Schedule must be submitted to either:

FA1 - Final Course Acceptance Schedule - 3rd Level Colleges in Ireland

SA1 - Final Course Acceptance Schedule - 3rd Level Colleges in UK and EU

Independent Mature Candidate

If you are over 23 at 1st January, 2011 and independent, your income and that of your spouse, if relevant, must be assessed


Dependent Mature Candidate

If you are over 23 at 1st January, 2011 and living with parent/s, your income and their income must be assessed


Candidate other than Mature

If you are under 23 at 1st January, 2011, your income (if relevant) and your parent/s income must be assessed
