Castleblayney College offers a range of courses at Junior and Senior levels.

In addition we offer a comprehensive programme of sports, social and cultural activities.

Junior Cycle:

At Junior Cycle, each student follows a three year programme, leading to the Junior Certificate examination.

Subjects: English, Mathematics, Irish, French, History, Geography, Science, Business Studies, Materials Technology (Wood), Materials Technology (Metal), Technical Graphics, Art, Craft and Design, Home Economics, Computer Studies, Physical Education, Religious Education, C.S.P.E. (Civic, Social and Political Education), S.P.H.E. (Social, Personal and Health Education).

The school also offers the Junior Certificate School Programme which allows students with special learning needs to sit the Junior Certificate in a reduced number of subjects.

Senior Cycle:

At Senior Cycle the school offers a one year Transition Year Programme (see transition year link) followed by a two year Senior Cycle programme leading to the Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Vocational (L.C.V.P.) Examinations.
