PRINCIPAL'S STATEMENT
Beech Hill College is a non-denominational, co-educational, democratically administered second level College under County Monaghan Vocational Education Committee.
It is the College's stated intention to provide a quality learning environment free from threat, fear and criticism, to enable all to realise their full potential as competent citizens in society.
Under the tutelage of a fully qualified, highly professional and widely experienced staff, students are invited to participate in a comprehensive course of study incorporating both formal and informal curricular activities designed to challenge, engage, stimulate and promote the physical, intellectual, moral, emotional and spiritual development of the student as she/he proceeds from adolescence to adulthood.
In addition, mindful of its partnership role within the wider community the college is committed to an interactive relationship with the community involving both expertise and facilities.

The majority of pupils take Leaving Certificate after 5 years, progressing to higher education or specialist training, but many other options are available in Beech Hill College after Junior Certificate which ensures that pupils of all aptitudes and abilities follow the path best suited to them.
The College, which opened in 1979, replacing the vocational school, Glen Road, has a long tradition of providing education rooted in the needs of the local community. Our close links with local industry, commerce and professions ensures ready access to employment for our pupils.
