Comhlamh Debate

A group of young debaters from Co. Monaghan attended and participated in the Comhlamh Debate in the European Commission Offices in Dublin on September 1st 2010. The motion was 'We can't afford aid in time of crises'. Speaking for the motion was Jim Power, Head of Investment Strategy & Chief Economist of Friends First. Speaking against the motion was Justin Kilcullen, Director of Trocaire. The debate was chaired by Joan Burton, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.
