Adult Education Night Classes

County Monaghan VEC provides a wide range of night classes for adults at  five of its centres  countywide

1.) Inver College, Carrickmacross
2.) Castleblayney College
3.) Ballybay Community College
4.) Largy College, Clones
5.) Beech Hill College, Monaghan

Classes are offered in the Autumn and Spring terms and generally run one night per week over an 8 to 10 week period. Subjects include Cookery, DIY, Accounts, Computers, Languages, Art and a whole host of others. Professional courses certified by NUI Maynooth, ATI, FETAC etc are also available. Terms begin in October and February with enrolments in September and January.

This year, Co Monaghan VEC has expanded the range of certified courses available on its night class programme. This is in response to the increasing demand from learners and employers for certification. The certified programmes are at Levels 5, 6, 7 & 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications and, as such, are well-regarded and very relevant qualifications for those seeking employment or wishing to progress to further training or to advance their career.
